Shame, shame, shame says Joyce!!! Shame on you for not posting on your son's blog yet....And of course my lovely wife is right, as is usually the case. I have been long over due for a post.
We had a great time over the weekend. You all got to see what a happy and smiling baby Caleb really is! He was on good behavior pretty much all weekend. Mom got her much needed Caleb time and Dad was able to work in a little love as well. Mike looked a little frightened he might brake something, but looks like he will soon be a pro holding the little guy.
I heard you drove right into some horrible weather once you hit Ohio on the way back. It figures! Ohio reminding you not to get your hopes up about experiencing anything like 75 degrees anytime soon. Oh well, hopefully memories of caleb and good food will tide you over till the next trip.
Thanks for coming down and see you again soon
Love Sean, Joyce, Caleb, and Evey......poor evey got bumped down a notch....

2 Months Old
Ok, so it's a little crazy that Caleb turned 2 months on Sunday. As the days have been going by, I couldn't imagine this coming up, but now that it is here it seems like it came too quickly!
Our little buddha got a great check up at the doctor's office today. He is weighing in at 13 lbs 6 oz (87th percentile!), length is 22 3/4 in (45th percentile) and head circumference is 15 1/2 in (37th percentile). The doctor was very impressed with his muscle strength in both his neck and legs. He'll be moving around in no time! The also received 3 shots this morning, which he only screamed for a few seconds. The nurse even commented on how well he did. I can attest to that since we were waiting for a few mins for her to come in, and the baby next door was screaming their head off the whole time! :) Luckily Caleb has more of his father's temperment than mine, so he is a pretty laid back baby. He really only gets fussy when he is either hungry or tired.
Here is a pic of him just calm, cool and relaxed during his bath. Now that he is becoming more alert, he likes to look at himself in the mirror. :)
We also bought a new leather sectional this weekend, and saw the cutest leather chair for kids. Here is a pic we took of Caleb enjoying it.

First Road Trip
Caleb with Pau-Pau and Gong-Gong
Pau-Pau putting Caleb to sleep (or is he getting what he wants? Look at the death grip on the chair... :) )
So, Caleb and I took a road trip to Durham this week to see my parents. Let me say, I can no longer pack light to go out of town for a few days. I went down with a car load of stuff for Caleb. :)
We went to spend some time with them, give Sean a little break during the work week and to get some more help (that part was for me). My sister happened to be in town for the weekend as well, so she was able to see Caleb for a day before she headed back to Dallas.
Caleb is transforming from day to day. Even my parents commented on how much he had changed in the 4 days we were there. He is a much more active and aware of people and things these days. His best times are in the morning and he is very active with smiles and body movements.
I can't believe he is going to be 2 months old on Sunday!
