Big boy

Hard to believe Caleb is almost 4 months old.  He took his first ride in the jogging stroller and was enjoying some MMA fights with daddy on the new couch.  Good times.

Time is flying by

Air time for Caleb's tushie

Caleb's favorite thing to do these days is suck his fingers and hands.

Evey and Caleb

Time seems to be flying by! Caleb is 14 weeks old today! He keeps getting bigger and bigger everyday. He loves to suck on his hands and multiple fingers all the time, and he is starting to notice his feet. He loves to stand up all the time as well as talk and coo. He has started to laugh out loud more and is starting to laugh at hide and seek. I can't believe that I'll be going back to work in less than 2 months, so I am really going to try to enjoy every moment that I have with my little boy. So, I know the first picture posted is a bit risque, and Caleb is going to kill me when he gets older, but I couldn't help it. :) Caleb has had a stubborn diaper rash, that is requiring daily airtime as well as baking soda soaks. Good thing for us, Caleb loves the baths.

Visitors from Far Away Places

Caleb was tired after everyone left, he actually fell asleep in his bouncy seat

Uncle Frank with Caleb

Pau-Pau and Gong-gong entertaining Caleb
So, we had a busy week.....Caleb met all of my co-workers during a visit back to the office and then he had a special visit from my Uncle Frank. Uncle Frank lives in Hong Kong, and had flown over to California for a few days to visit his son's family. While he was in the US, he decided to fly into NC for basically a total of 72 hours. Of which he spent half of that time coming to Charlotte to meet little Caleb. We really are truly blessed that so many people love this little boy already! He kept commenting on how happy Caleb is, which is very true. Even when he is fussing, he can't help but throw a smile in there. Above are a few pictures of the visit. Caleb is always wiped out when visitors leave, and always a little sad because it really is one of the few times that he actually gets fussy and not because he is hungry or tired. I think he gets sad that he is back to only looking at me most of the day. ;)
To make this week even more exciting, Caleb turns 3 months tomorrow. It is crazy that it has been that long already, but then it has felt like a long time being in it day to day. :) I weighed him earlier this week and he was weighing in at 15 lbs 2 oz! He just keeps growing! We are finally going to get some professional pictures done the first of April of Caleb and the family, so we'll share those pictures once we have them. I feel very behind the ball, since one of my friends had pictures done at 10 days old, 1 month and 3 months!
You can tell he really wants to move around, so watch out world! He is starting to learn to lean to go to someone, wants to try to stand or sit up every chance he gets, using his hands more(holding them together) and he has just started to notice that he has feet and toes.
We just moved him to sleep in his crib full time at night, and I'm glad to say that the first night was successful. He woke up a few times around 4am, but would fall back asleep. Hopefully, he will continue the good work. We are going to give him a few days to get used to the crib, then we will start putting him down not fully asleep so he can start to really settle himself. We think that will be the really hard part for him, so we wanted to transition him.
Wish us luck! We'll keep you posted!
