9 month check up

Well, we finally had our 9 month check up appt for Caleb. Only a few weeks late, but I have to admit, I love them. I get to see how our baby is progressing and confirming that he is doing well and he is thriving.
Ok, here are his 9 month statistics:
Weight: 22 lbs 12 oz ( 72%) -I'll admit, I was a little surprised by this, bc he doesn't seem lighter :)
Length: 29 1/2 in (75%)
Head Circum.: 18 1/8 in (61%) - This also surprised me bc all of his hats are getting a bit tight, and the new ones I'm getting are 18-24 mo, so to find he's only slightly above avg was surprising :)

He got his first flu shot as well, and cried for about 2 seconds after it was done.
Such a good boy!

Our Little Eater

Caleb and I went down to Durham last weekend to visit Pau-Pau and Gong-Gong. He is always a good eater when Pau-Pau is around. He had Dim-Sum, steamed fish and rice porridge. His appetite for solid foods has really come in this week after our visit. He loves to feed himself and drink from his sippy cup.
Our baby is growing up.

We're in Trouble

So, we might be in trouble. Caleb doesn't seem to really let anything or anyone get in his way of what he wants..... Trouble
Not sure how long the baby gates or anything else will keep him away. He already knows how to open a cracked door and to finagle his way around to what he wants.

Visit to Texas

It was an action packed 4 days. We went to texas to visit Sharon, Shu-Huan and the kids. It was our first time seeing their house, and the first visit for both Sean and Caleb to Frisco. We surpised the kids with the timing of our visit, since we told them we weren't coming until the next weekend :) Eating lunch with Natalie, after we surprised her at school.

Andy was great about letting Caleb play with all of his trucks and toys. They gave Caleb a ton of books and some other toys to take home with him.
