Happy B.....Baba
Happy 38th Birthday to Baba!! we went out for a quick dinner, and Caleb got a little camera shy. :) Then we headed home for some ice cream cake, which he knew it was something good the second he saw the box and kept pointing into his mouth to get some. :)

Caleb has had a fascination with my jewelry, and i figured he would love all of the pieces we would get for his little sister. My co-workers threw a shower for me, and i came home with some headbands. of course this was the first thing he was drawn to, saying it was pretty and then wanted to try them out. let's be clear, there was no persuasion from me to do this. :)

1st official haircut
We took Caleb in for his 1st official haircut. It went pretty well. He was so excited about flying his airplane and watching CAR's on the tv, that he barely moved when she was cutting his hair.

we have been trying to let caleb start eating on his own a little more and more these days. here he is enjoying some more bbq that baba made....all by himself.

Happy 4th!
We decided to take it easy for the 4th of July since the last month has been so hectic. We stuck around the house, and Sean smoked a pork butt. To cool off in the afternoon, we took out Caleb's pool, and for easy clean-up gave him a popsicle before we dumped the water out. We took some pics and video. Then a pic of him enjoying the pork butt, which was a success in 2 ways- Sean said he thought it was his best one so far (he cooked it overnight) and bc Caleb isn't normally drawn to meat and ate 2 plates of pork asking for more.

Cleaver Wedding
For our last trip out of town before the baby arrives, we headed to Asheville for Matt and Holt's wedding. We planned to take more pictures, but this was our first experience taking Caleb to an event like this, so we ended up chasing him around most of the time. Despite the blazing heat, it was the perfect day and setting for a wedding. Here are the few pics we took.....
