Pumpkins

Caleb has been seeing pumpkins everywhere and has been asking for some.  To be honest he keeps saying he wants to eat the pumpkins. :)
we took him to get a few, as Sean loves pumpkins too- but for roasting the seeds.
we tried to take a couple of pictures with him and Sophie, but he refused to look at the camera.  Good times....

Krispy Kreme

A new krispy kreme opened up near us last week. i had to take Caleb there to experience the making of the donuts and eating a  freshly made donut right off the machine.  Of course he loved it. :)

 



Fresh Beats!

We  took the kids to their first concert.  Caleb loves the Fresh Beat Band.  He had a great time, but there were way too many people there and it was too late for him to really enjot himself.  He wanted to dance, but he apparently needs quite a  bit of room for his moves.  I really wish I had been able to get it on camera.  As good of a time he had, mama and babs will not be repeating this anytime soon.....unless we havr at least 3 other people helping us corral our dancing/running machine.

We got some king crab legs last week,  which weren't very good...so we got a credit at the seafood market.  We decided to get a bunch of oysters.
The kid knows how to eat!  He had a half dozen and wanted more.

Little Helper

Caleb wanted to give Sophie her bottle while he was drinking his milk too.  She looks a little scared..... :)

 

1 Month Check-Up

We went for Sophie's 1 month check up today.  She is definitely healthy and growing.....and right now she is really testing out her lung capacity these days. (I never thought I would be so thankful for a pacifier.  :) )

Here are her stats:

Length:  21.75'' (60%)

Weight: 9 lbs 7 oz (40%)

Head: 36.8 cm (43%)

 

Just like Baba

Sean has a love of rain storms, and every day Caleb shows he is more and more of a mini-Sean everyday.  Here they are enjoying a rain storm together.......more of a torrential down pour, but that wasn't stopping either one of them.

One of my favorite things...

One of the things I love most right now, is when Caleb calls out for Sophie.  He typically has to combine in with Baby at the beginning.  I have been trying to record him saying it for weeks, and of course, I always just miss it.  I finally caught him saying it, while playing with his make shift tent.  Of which he wanted Sophie to sit under with him. :)  Love my sweet boy!

A part of history

We stopped by the DNC since they were uptown and Jeff Bridges and James Taylor were playing.  About 3-4 songs into each set we had a torrential downpour.  We were all soaked.  Sophie got stuck in her first rainstorm too. 
Caleb lobbed the music while it lasted.....

So tired.....

Its exhausting being this cute.
