Caleb enjoys wearing his froggy sunglasses he got from MiMi and PaPa. The only caveat, is that the only wears them inside, and typically when he's eating. He likes to open the glasses and we say "hello", then he closes them and we say "good-bye".

Visit to Durham with Family
Caleb's Great Uncle Frank flew in for a visit, all the way from Hong Kong. We had a great meal, that was prepared by Sean and got to spend some good quality time with Gong-Gong and Pau-Pau too.
Caleb and Sophie with Great Uncle Frank
My mom serving Sean a shot of "Moi Tai" some Chinese rice liquor. I had to get a shot, since this will probably never happen again....my mom serving Sean. :)
Rack of Lamb and roasted potatoes....yummmm
45 day dry-aged steaks...
Caleb talked about going to Pau-Pau's house on the ride down, so he could play the piano. He actually didn't even want to go to dim sum for lunch, and just wanted to go to the house. When we were done eating, he kept saying "I ready go to Pau-Pau's house, play piano". Give him credit, he knows what he wants.

Sean was out in the yard this last weekend, putting fresh mulch out. Caleb wanted to help with his shovel and wheel barrel.

Weekend Fun
We had a neighborhood bike race this weekend, which blocked off much of the neighborhood, except for walking or biking through. So, Caleb and I took in the races in the morning, as Sean was restaining the deck and Sophie was napping. He was cheering "Yay!!" and "Weeeee!!" as the bikes were flying by. The last picture is of him getting ready to go with his hat on and his hammer tucked into the top of his shorts. Watch out ladies, Watch out....
We went out for lunch on Sunday and Sophie sat in the highchair most of the time. She also enjoys some cold water from a straw, just like Caleb did when he was her age. Big girl (literally...note her thighs in one of the pics :) ), getting bigger before our eyes everyday.
And we have a crawler!!!
Of course, Sophie starts crawling the night I am feeling sick to my stomach and am out of commission. Sean and Caleb caught it, but we didn't get it on video. So, the next best thing was to get it today. There is no motivation like food, which you can tell is definitely a motivator for Sophie.
Also, not to be outdone, there is a video of Caleb playing the harmonica. I'll let him tell you on the video what he is playing. Enjoy!!

Look at me!
Sophie's top two front teeth finally came in. I was able to get a couple of pictures. She now has four total. Our girl is getting bigger.
Super Caleb!
Caleb has started wearing his towel over his head and says its his super hero cape. Not just any towel, it has to be this one....
Also, our little boy is growing up. Watching a little ipad and snacking on some kettle corn while BaBa watches basketball.

8 Months Old
Sophie turned 8 months old yesterday! My how time flies. She is such a sweet and happy baby these days. Don't get me wrong, she'll still tell you when she isn't happy and doesn't like something. :)
Sophie is very close to crawling, and is a little inch worm. She especially when she's on one of the beds and tries to inch towards the edge of the bed. When she gets really close, she gets this little grin on her face and gives herself one more big push so you have to catch her. Daredevil already.
Sophie is also laughing out loud more and talking (babbling) up a storm...also very loudly. Especially when she wakes up at 6am and wants to wake up everyone else.
Below are a couple of pictures I absolutely love from the last week and a couple of videos to show Sophie "inching" and laughing. Sophie loves the camera, not the real one, but the one on my phone. So every time she see's the flash she smiles really big for me. Little ham.
Enjoy our little girl as much as we do....although at this rate she won't be so little much longer.
It's funny how much alike Sophie is to Caleb when he was this age, but yet totally different too. Love to watch them both learn and grow.
