Happy Easter!

What a great time to celebrate the true meaning of Easter.  Daddy was baptized at their new church, which was so wonderful to be a part of.  the kids loved being at church and even enjoyed Sunday school.  Now, we all know Caleb loves sunday school, but he was also nice enough to stay with Sophie in her class and she enjoyed her time as well.  We headed home after a nice lunch of DimSum.  We then had an easter egg hunt inside the house, set up by Baba.  Then we had one outside in conjunction with our neighbors.  The kids had a blast.  As we prepared dinner, Sophie decided to take a minute and sit outside on the deck and scribble on her new pad and sing/talk happily to herself.  The mood was ruined a little when her big brother decided to join her in the chair and push her off. :)

Visitors

We had some visitors this weekend, and the kids loved it. Pau-Pau and Gong-Gong came down. We also had a special visit from my Uncle Frank from Hong Kong. The kids loved the visit and were on their best behaviour. ..at least most of the time. :). We went to brunch and did a ton of work outside, then capped the day off with Sean whipping up another  amazing meal around Rack of Lamb and some fresh veggies and fish from the farmers market for everyone.

Birthday Party Fun

Our neighbors son just turned 3 and had a birthday party Caleb and Sophie were invited to join in the fun. A fire truck came by for a visit from the local fire department. Then several of the older sisters did some face painting  on the kids. Caleb was the only o e who wanted a full facial paint job to become Spiderman.  Great fun and enjoying the beautiful weather.

School Fun

Caleb's school celebrated the Week of the Young Child lats week. They had lots of fun activities scheduled through the week , but thursday was jam packed. I got to come and watch some of it. They held their Trike-a-thon and Caleb did great. Thank you all for donating for a great cause, and he raised enough money that he earned a t-shirt and a puppet.  They then had  their class eater egg hunt, which Caleb collected his allotted amount in like 2 mins.  Thursday is also Amazing Athletes, so I got watch some of that too.

Easter Egg Hunt

Our neighborhood held their annual Easter Egg hunt.  We took the kids there, and they each got to participate in and egg hunt for the age group. They had a great time, and Caleb even ran into one of his classmates- Ana.  Sophie took to it like a pro, and this is just warming Caleb up to the many hunts he will participate in this year.
