Growing Pains
So I think we now know why Caleb's food intake decreases the last few weeks. This weekend we "heard" Caleb's first tooth come in. :) We heard it while he was attempting to drink some water out of a glass, and it started 'tinking' against the glass. On a related note, he seems to be eating more again.
Our boy is growing up so fast!!
On another growing pain:
Ummmm.....no one told me we would have to go through two phases of crying it out. The first phase was for his bedtime and then we just had to implement phase 2 for his middle of the night crying. I think because of his tooth coming in, the last month he has been getting up several times, which means we have been getting up several times as well. :) So, for all of our sanities we had to let him cry it out this weekend. It wasn't great the first time, but it's really not great the 2nd time around. Especially when it's 4:00 in the morning and he is crying for about an hour and a half. Luckily, that was only for one night, and he has gotten better and better. He stills cries through the night, but at least he is settling himself back down on his own. Of course, Sean and I are still waking up through the night anticipating his crying and waking spells.
I can't wait for my first night of full sleep. :)

6 Month Old Pics
Our baby is getting older! He turned 6 months old on Monday. We took him in for his 6 month check-up. He weighed in at 19 lbs 11oz (85%), height 27 1/4 in. (79%) and head circumference 16 5/8 (80%). The seems to be doing well with all of his Motor Skills too. He is a total joy to be around, and is even more fun these days as he becomes more alert and active. He'll be moving before we know it! He wants to stand and walk all the time, when he's on his back he moves around in a circle, and he has started to scoot backwards when he is on his belly. Enjoy the pics below.

Pau-Pau and Gong-Gong came to visit last weekend, but I just now had the change to load the pictures we took. You can tell that Caleb is getting bigger and starting to get more interested in the food we eat. Of course he seems to have a an interest in good food, like his parents, as he was trying to take the Soft Shell crab from Pau-Pau. :)
