What do we do on warm days?

What do we do on warms days?  Well, we have to wear our froggy sunglasses. We also have to eat ice cream sandwiches and play with our water sprayer.  Caleb is a pretty good shot.  We will also then eat a biscuit for breakfast and go get our summer cut, and then add 3 new members to our family; Fishy, Fishy and Snail (those are the names Caleb wanted to call them :) ).

Caleb's Trike-A-Thon

Caleb's school had their 1st Annual Trike-A-Thon today, and I was there to help volunteer and take pictures.  They all had a lot of fun. Caleb doesn't quite know how to ride a bike yet, but he still likes to scoot around on it.  He started off on the bike, but then decided it was "too hard" (his words), and then pushed it.  Then he switched to the scooter so he could go faster. :)

Notice the direction the rest of his class is going in, and the direction Caleb is going in. . I think this is only the beginning.....

Caleb and I were taking "selfies" of each other saying "cheese!"  At least he has my interest in taking pictures (taking them and being in them), and not Sean's. :)

 

9 months old

Today Sophie turned 9 months old.  I truly feel like I was just posting her 8 month update.  We had a wellness check up at the doctor's office and she is progressing as well as one could.

Here are her stats:

Weight: 19 lbs 3oz (65%)

Height: 28.5" (82%)

Head Circumference: 43.5cm (42%)

 

Besides these amazing stats, she is progressing so much just in the last couple of weeks.  As I had posted last week, she started crawling.  Well, she's completely got the hang of it now and wants to go any and everywhere we are.  So look out!  And now that she has started crawling, she also wants to stand and try to walk.  If she is near you she will pull herself up to standing.  Pretty soon she'll be cruising along the couch.  She's also discovered dancing, when there is music playing in the back ground or if you sing to her. Last but not least, she has also figured out how to wave with her hand.  Not only that, but she associates it with "Hi" and Bye-Bye" as well.  Dare I say it, but she might be even smarter than Caleb, which I didn't think was possible.  She'll be chasing him and talking over him in no time.  I've included some videos to show all the wonderful things she is doing now.

Evey is 6 years old!

Evey turned 6 today!  It's crazy to think it's been that long since we got her.  From Sean's apartment uptown when she was just 5 pounds, until now with 2 human siblings and 60 pounds later. 

 

 The first week we got her.....

 

Sophie:  Hey!  is that cake over there?

Sophie: Oh yeah, that's better.  Now I can get some. ...Evey looking over like, wasn't this all supposed to be for me?
