Visit with Santa

Santa came for a visit to our neighborhood rec center. Sophie and Caleb were planning to take a picture with him. Note there are no pictures of Sophie even near Santa.  That is bc she wouldn't get near him without screaming. I even tried to hold her in the picture and she wailed.  Once I was a safe five feet away, she calmed down.
Caleb of course was a ham for the camera and told santa he just wanted one toys for christmas. And didn't name anything specific. So santa said he would bring him too and he got really excites and said and sophie too? Santa then asked him if he was going to leave him milk and cookies and he looked at him and said No. :)
Of course, sophie was fine when it was time to eat cookies and drink lemonade......
Oh well....there's always next year. :)

Happy Birthday Caleb!

Today our big boy turned 3! I can't believe the time has flown by so quickly(while I'll admit sometimes it hasn't felt so fast).   He started the celebration yesterday at school. We brought treats for the class. Then Mei brought him his birthday present as well.  He woke up opening his present from Sharon Yee Yee and family. We gave him a few of our own. We then had a few of his friends come to a birthday party at Chucky Cheese. It was a hit for all...games, pizza, food and beer for the parents. :) Caleb had a blast!

Hold your horsies

I am working from home today to deal with some repairs and Caleb has been a but clingy since the weekend. He was in the office with me and wanted me to pick him up, so I told him to hokd gis horsies. We've said this to him before and he thinks its pretty funny. Well, he said I be right back after I said it a ferlw times bc I was trying to work. He then came back in with Sophies zebra ans said "I'm holding my horsies! Now you can pick me up"
