We decided not to have a formal party for Sophie for her birthday this year, but did decide to go the Lazy 5 Ranch about an hour away that everyone seems to love. You can either ride in a wagon or in your own car and feed the animals..... Deer, Llamas, goats, zebras, water ox, antelopes and giraffes. Every had a great, if not slobbery, time. Definitely worth the effort and time to go. Some of our friends joined us as well, so it made for an extra good time as well as with the cousins. After a full morning, we played in the yard the rest of the afternoon. The kids found new and adventurous ways to have fun with the toys that we have. (Apologies to Sharon in case you feel some of the activities were not in your realm of comfort...I will say I was around the whole time to supervise.)
